2º Festival de Fotografia MulheresLuz
Memória foi a temática do 2º Festival de Fotografia Mulheres Luz, como vemos nesta publicação, propondo uma reflexão sobre o que nos foi contado, além de perspectivas que buscam construir imagens que promovam direitos, igualdade, liberdade e felicidade.
O Festival contou com atividades presenciais, todas gratuitas. Entre elas, destacamos as três convocatórias, abertas para fotógrafas e artistas visuais de todo país, e o lançamento de uma revista. Foram dias de oficinas, rodas de conversas, apresentação de projetos, projeções, feira de fotografia, agenda de autógrafos, exposição, mostra de fotolivros, muitas trocas e aprendizados.
Trabalhos apresentados trouxeram imagens associadas à vida cotidiana, arquivos pessoais, espaços de vivências, vestígios, histórias documentais, pessoais e ficcionais, experiências imagéticas, pesquisas, documentações, entre outras fotografias que ganharam significados nas relações de tempo e sentimento. As oficinas também tiveram a foto como objeto de interferência por bordados, colagens e construção de narrativas, sem contar a magia de ver uma imagem aparecer de uma lata de marmita, câmera pinhole usada pelas crianças.
O evento foi idealizado e produzido por mulheres, reforçando a representatividade em toda a cadeia produtiva da fotografia e no fazer cultural. A participação do público foi aberta a todos os gêneros.
A artista Ulla von Czékus foi selecionada para apresentar seu trabalho A dúvida.
Memory was the theme of the 2nd Mulheres Luz Photography Festival, proposing a reflection on what we have been told, as well as perspectives that seek to construct images that promote rights, equality, freedom and happiness.
The Festival featured in-person activities, all free of charge. Among them, we highlight the three calls for entries, open to photographers and visual artists from all over the country, and the launch of a magazine. There were days of workshops, discussion groups, project presentations, screenings, a photography fair, book signings, an exhibition, a photobook show, and many exchanges and learning opportunities.
The works presented brought images associated with daily life, personal archives, living spaces, traces, documentary, personal and fictional stories, image experiences, research, documentation, among other photographs that gained meaning in the relationships between time and feeling. The workshops also used the photo as an object of interference through embroidery, collages and the construction of narratives, not to mention the magic of seeing an image appear from a lunchbox can, a pinhole camera used by children.
The event was conceived and produced by women, reinforcing representation throughout the photography production chain and in cultural activities. Public participation was open to all genders.
The artist Ulla von Czékus was selected to present her work The doubt.
