Med PhotoFest 2021
Histórias de Mulheres e Humanidades Diversas é o tema da 13ª edição do MED PHOTO FEST 2021. A condição humana e os elementos mais ocultos da sociedade recolhidos nos quadros das autoras. Uma série de exposições pessoais, ladeadas por um rico programa de workshops, seminários, concursos e encontros com os autores, localizadas em diferentes locais como a Galeria de Arte Moderna do Município de Catânia, as Cozinhas do antigo Refettorio (Aula Magna) e o Coro Noturno do antigo Mosteiro Beneditino - sede do Departamento de Humanidades da Universidade de Catânia - o Museu Diocesano de Caltagirone e a Biblioteca Fotográfica de Siracusa.
O MED PHOTO FEST é um evento dedicado à arte fotográfica que dá espaço a artistas consagrados, fotógrafos profissionais e autores emergentes. Em poucos anos, atraiu a atenção de especialistas do setor, conquistando um importante espaço no panorama nacional de festivais e grandes eventos nacionais dedicados à arte fotográfica.
A fotógrafa Ulla von Czékus teve uma obra da série Arredores selecionada para participar da mostra coletiva Dalla Parte Della Donna, que faz parte da programação do MED PHOTO FEST 2021.
Stories of Women and Diverse Humanities is the theme of the 13th edition of MED PHOTO FEST 2021. The human condition and the most hidden elements of society collected in the authors' charts. A series of personal exhibitions, flanked by a rich program of workshops, seminars, competitions and meetings with the authors, located in different places such as the Gallery of Modern Art in the Municipality of Catania, the Kitchens of the old Refettorio (Aula Magna) and the Choir At night of the former Benedictine Monastery - headquarters of the Department of Humanities of the University of Catania - the Diocesan Museum of Caltagirone and the Photographic Library of Syracuse.
The MED PHOTO FEST is an event dedicated to photographic art that provides space for renowned artists, professional photographers and emerging authors. In a few years, it attracted the attention of specialists in the sector, conquering an important space in the national panorama of festivals and large national events dedicated to photographic art.
Photographer Ulla von Czékus had a work from the Surroundings series selected to participate in the collective exhibition Dalla Parte Della Donna, which is part of the MED PHOTO FEST 2021 program.
